2024 Summer Road Trip - Day 24-of-35 - July 15, 2024

Monday, July 15, 2024 - I am drawn to Heading West this trip (hence the Title of this blog). That means that I would like to get Washington State and Idaho under my belt this trip. Which means that today, still in Canada, I will head 408 miles west, spending the night at the Park Inn in Osoyoos, British Columbia (we are GETTING CLOSE TO THE BORDER!):

No Great Objective for Today. The Word doc I made for this trip only has 1 line for today:

DRIVE WEST - lose a Time Zone entering mid-British Columbia (gain an hour)

In the morning I saw more "Beauty that is Canada":

At 12:34 I was going past Moyie Lake:

At 2:35 I stopped at the Blaze Creek Rest Area - a very nice spot to cool off:

So, I'm traveling on "British Columbia Highway 3", which has a great logo. The only problem is that the-white-3-on-the-black-crow is VERY HARD TO READ:

At 4:30 it was 99 degrees.

It was just after 8 PM when I checked-in to the Park Inn in Osoyoos, British Columbia. 408 miles today. Thank you God for these Great "British Columbia" Adventures!

Today was my last day of collecting Canada Poste Offices - 279 new ones across Canada (purple ones are previous), and 24 from today's drive. Looks like a nice trail of breadcrumbs:

Music today - starting with soundtracks. Two nice things about soundtracks are that 1) they are a "curated collection" of songs, picked with a specific purpose or mood in mind (kind-of like dj's from once-upon-a-time), and 2) the songs are generally Good:
