I reached Marble Canyon Provincial Park at 11:10
I banged the corner at Ashcroft, British Columbia and headed east on Canada Hwy 1, which goes alongside the Thompson River:
It is VERY DRY COUNTRY down here. At Kamloops Lake, there was a kiosk with fun descriptions of their "Circle Routes" - I'll have to do some research to see "what I have missed":
A little more civilization than I am used to:
A few miles west of Revelstoke, I go around Three Valley Lake and see "Three Valley Lake Chateau":
At 5:54, the highway looks GREAT!
UNFORTUNATELY, AT 6 PM I AM STOPPED:

It turns out there was a truck-fire a few miles ahead:
We were moving by 10:10
But it was VERY SLOW - it was 11 PM before I got to witness my own version of "Heavy Rescue":
It was 12:20 AM when I reached the Super 8 in Golden, British Columbia, which was actually 1:20 AM because I lost a Time Zone. 485 miles today. Thank you God for these Great "British Columbia" Adventures! (photo is from the next day - doesn't everything look nice and normal)
