Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 - Explore and hike around Telluride, Colorado. We had a fun drive when we went down to explore Telluride:
(I'm getting a rest today - no time behind the wheel.)
Tom and Debbie have a really nice view from one of their bathroom windows:
Rise-and-shine - the day is waiting for us:
After breakfast, we hopped in the car and drove up to Telluride - pretty scenery, but none of the pictures came out ok. On foot in Telluride, we will be heading up there:
It is a rainy day, but we are kind-of under trees, and it is keeping us nice and cool:
Pretty view back towards town:
I made my way on a side-path to a field with stones:
then bushwacked up to the main trail, where I saw Bear Creek Falls:
It was a really good hike:
4.65 miles round-trip up-and-back.
We drove around Telluride, and had a nice lunch at a Mexican sandwich place.
The storm clouds in the mountains were really cool:
Back to Tom and Debbie's place for a wonderful late afternoon/evening. Thank you God for ALL THESE WONDERFUL ADVENTURE days!
