Fall 2015 - Day 17: The Bishop’s Ranch, Healdsburg, CA - Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve - The Bishop’s Ranch, Healdsburg, CA

Tuesday, Sept 22, 2015 - Starting from The Bishop’s Ranch, Healdsburg, CA, west to the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, down to Guerneville for lunch, then back up to The Bishop’s Ranch, Healdsburg, CA:

26 miles; 58 minutes.

We had a fun day with Deede! After breakfast, she drove us on a (VERY WINDY) road [Sweetwater Springs Rd] to get to the Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. It was great to see THE BIG TREES:

They are iconic:

and it was a great little adventure in the Grove:

Then south a little for lunch in the town of Guerneville, where I was able to get a nice view of the Russian River - upstream:

and downstream:

Back to the Ranch by the southern road (different views), and then a wonderful swim in the pool. Wendy and Deede went out wine-tasting, and I stayed and work on blogs and driving-directions for the next few days. Thank You GOD for a Great Day!

Because we were in Deede's car, none of my music listed today (her playlist).
