Fall 2015 - Day 15: San Francisco, CA - Cornerstone Church (San Francisco) - The Haggin Museum (Stockton) - S.F. Int'l Airport - Counting Crows Concert (Concord) - Martinez, CA

Sunday, Sept 20, 2015 - Starting from the Super 8, Cornerstone Church in town, east to The Haggin Museum (Stockton, CA), back to pick up Deede at the S.F. Int'l Airport, then up to Counting Crows concert (Concord, CA), then the Super 8 Martinez:

236 miles; 4 hours 36 minutes.

After a nice breakfast at the nearby IHOP, came back to load up, and found smashed car window:

but, thanks to Healdsburg Auto Glass, all turned out ok!

A year ago I visited The Haggin Museum in Stockton, and I really wanted to show it to Wendy this time around.

Last year's blog (click for link to blog entry) showed 6 paintings, so I will not repeat myself.

Thomas Moran - A Woodland Temple, 1867

Jasper Francis Cropsey - Warwick Woodlands, c. 1877

Julian Rix - Redwoods, no date

William Keith - Mount Tamalpais, 1879

And then back to San Francisco to pick up Deede at the Airport; then McDonald's dinner, and up to the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA for Counting Crows!!

They have a nice venue:

And the concert was GREAT! Wendy said that the music was "not so loud that it hurt", and that the sound system was so good that she could understand the words:

Because we got there late (missed the opening acts, which is very ok), they parked us in the "Special" area, and we got a direct shot out of the venue to the highway!! Then an easy 30 minute drive to the Super 8 in Martinez, CA. WOW - Church - Art - Deede - Great Concert - wow de wow de wow!! Thank You GOD for a Great Day!

Music today: um, I forget.
