2026 Road Trip - Day 28

Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026 - We left Columbia Falls at 9 AM, and, after 320 miles (and 10 Post Offices), Wendy and I checked into the Days Inn & Suites in Bozeman, MT at 3:30 PM:

The 10 Post Offices cover from Lake George, NY to Block Island, RI:

The first stop today was seeing wonderful Wall-Art in Columbia Falls:

The Skies Are Clearing - Should Be A Beautiful Day!

Beautiful going around the east side of Swan Lake:

Nice "Montana Scene" behind a rest-stop:

A nice view of Owl Creek:

Just following a white camper through the Montana countryside:

Cute couple on top of a windy mountain pass:

Pretty Cool Countryside:

We reached I-90 - hey, Boston is JUST DOWN THE ROAD!

Wendy and I checked into the Days Inn & Suites in Bozeman, MT at 3:30 PM - Don't worry, those cookies are not ALL for me:

We had a great dinner at Outback Steakhouse, then I got to watch Patriots/Seattle! Since they lead at the half, great way to have Sweet Dreams! Thank you God for this wonderful MONTANA Adventure Day!

Music for today:

In the Hotel Room:

Nat King Cole - The World of Nat King Cole, 2005 compilation album, last heard in a blog never. Very nice Nat King Cole stuff (very smooth):

Time to hit The Road:

various - AM Gold 1978, 1997 compilation album, last heard in a blog never. I guess since songs were longer in the 70's, it "only" has 20 songs!

Chappaquiddick Skyline - Chappaquiddick Skyline, 1999 album, last heard 3/13/2017. Smooth jazz/ambiant music - perfect for driving down the road with my wife:

Sade - Soldier of Love, 2010 album, last heard never:

Sting - Brand New Day, 1999 album, last heard in a blog 11/13/2017. The album earned Sting a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and his third Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the title track:

various - Sounds Of The Eighties: 1983, 1994 album, last heard never. Very Nice collection of 18 songs that charted in 1983:
