Fall 2016 - Day 11: Victoria, British Columbia

Sunday, Sept 25, 2016 - Morning Church Service, then lunch/afternoon/evening with Kelley, a woman Wendy and Deede met while hiking the Camino de Santiago in Spain in 2013. She lives in Victoria, and that was one catalyst for making this visit:

It was a beautiful day to walk around the city of Victoria:

and have a nice late lunch at Mole, a cool place:

We then drove down around to Dallas Road and The Breakwater:

Pretty Nice Day!

We then went up to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria; they had some very nice Japanese hanging scrolls, including:

Yamamoto Baiitsu (1783-1856) - Hawk in Snow,

Then a visit over to Beacon Hill Park to see the peacocks!:

the Roses

and the Sleeping Lady

It was a beautiful park:

but then off to rest before our fun dinner at Bard & Banker

Thank You God for a great day with friends!
