Monday, Sept. 12, 2022 - Visit a Beautiful Museum, then Dinner with relatives in Colorado Springs:
We got up and drove down into Denver, to the American Museum of Western Art (The Anschutz Collection):
This is a Private Art Museum, with a "No Photos" policy.
Having said that, a ton of images are on-line:
Thomas Moran - "Children of the Mountain", 1866 oil:
Thomas Hill - "View of Yosemite Valley", 1871 oil:
Albert Bierstadt - "Mountain Landscape", 1895 oil:
After viewing their BEAUTIFUL collection, we headed south, to a museum in Greenwood Village. But The Madden Museum of Art is currently closed for renovations.
With The Museum closed, we had lunch right next door, which was a wonderful lingering time:
From there we headed south on I-25, checking in at the Super 8 in Fountain, Colorado:
We had 6 PM reservations with Mimi and Charles at Red Gravy in Colorado Springs:
Going back to our car, Wendy and I saw the TWO CUTEST DOGS IN THE WORLD:
Thank You GOD for these wonderful days!!
