2025 Late-Summer Road Trip - Day 12-of-35 - August 25, 2025

Monday, Aug. 25, 2025 - Up The Oregon Coast today - 414 miles ending up at the Best Western, Long Beach, WA:

I was able to use their washing machine yesterday evening, so look who started the day with CLEAN CLOTHES:

I was able to get a Jiffy Lube oil change this morning, which gave me the down-time to write postcards. I didn't really hit The Road until 11 AM:

I figure I will be seeing beach-and-surf, so let's appreciate pretty streams and rivers:

It is lovely driving along the Umpqua River Scenic Byway:

I knew I was in a cool place from the sign in the lobby. Checked-in at 9 PM - 414 miles today (and 35 Post Offices):

My favorite today is 97122 - Hebo, OR - How can you not-like Wall Art on a Post Office!

Steely Dan - Katy Lied, 1975 album, last heard (on a Road Trip) 11/03/2019 - at least 2 times - I wanted something familiar:
