Day One: Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA - Race Brook Falls - Bash Bish Falls - Olana, NY - Hudson, NY - Mahwah, NJ

337 miles driven today, 10 1/2 hours



We first went to Race Brook Falls in far southwestern Massachusetts


We then went around the mountains to get to Bash Bish Falls


Then over to Olana (Frederick Edwin Church's home just south of Hudson, NY), but it was after 4 so the tours were over and the store was closed. Beautiful views from the house on the top of the hill, however.

Then up to Hudson, NY for a cup of coffee, then straight down the NY State Thruway to the Super 8 in Mahwah, NJ
